Not a Goodbye but Rather a See You Later

Not a Goodbye but Rather a See You Later

Over the past few years, I’ve enjoyed writing blogs for Austen Authors. Unfortunately, it is time for me to take a little break and let another author enjoy some time sharing wonderful Regency blogs for you.

Like many of you, I fell in love with Jane Austen as a young reader. Re-reading her novels over and over and over again have only further enflamed my passion for her classic works of literature. It was only natural that I rewrite them in an Amish setting, the genre for which I predominantly write.

I was fortunate enough that two of the novels, First Impressions and Second Chances made the ECPA best-sellers list. My final one, Newbury Acres (an adaptation of Northanger Abby) was purchased by a different publisher and will be in Walmart sometime in 2019.

However, my six adaptations of Jane Austen’s novels have run their course and I am not writing anymore for the next year so I will be stepping aside. Notice that I didn’t say “good-bye”…it’s more of a “see you later.”

It’s been a fun ride and I’ve enjoyed getting to know many of the Austen Authors as well as the readers of the blog.

May our paths cross again.

Hugs and blessings,

Sarah P.
