Inspired by Grace Cover Reveal

I am thrilled to share with you the cover of my latest novel, Inspired by Grace, due to be released May 16th! (At least that is my goal! And I’ll tell you why later!) Although this is not Jane Austen Fan Fiction, it is Austenesque and has some correlations to Persuasion. And the truth is, Jane Austen has inspired all my writing! I would be a fool to think otherwise! Just because it has all new characters and an entirely different plot, does not mean it is not for those Janeites or Austenites too! It may even be a bit of a summer flirtatious fling where you cheat on your favorite character broody character from Derbyshire and fall in love with Gavin! (Shocking!) Coming from someone who fully falls in love with the hero of every story I read, I have several flings a month––I won’t judge you if you do too. Heck! Let me be the one to introduce you! Meet Gavin Kingston and Grace Iverson . . .

“She was never the demure lady who was afraid of getting her petticoat dirty. He was never the calm and collected lad who coddled her. What had started as friendship had evolved into something quite tangible . . .”

A lady always hopes that the man she falls in love with will sweep her off her feet in a dramatic and graceful way. Well, for Grace Iverson, at least it was dramatic. Her childhood best friend, Gavin Kingston—now His Grace, the Duke of Huntsman—is still just as clumsy as ever.

Despite their painful separation as children, a chance encounter has offered them a second opportunity for happiness. But after ten years apart, they both carry hidden scars. Trust takes time. And soon, forces from the past threaten to destroy the love they both have hoped for all of their lives.

Can Grace’s best friend break down her emotional fortress and prove his love before she disappears from his life a second time?

This lovely Regency romance started well before either of them knew what they wished for in a partner; but it will surely be one that stands the test of time.

And now, the cover reveal! Tell me this does not make you want to buy it right now!

I wisely chose my daughter, Paige, as the model, because she is who the main character, Grace, is based off of. And since she will turn 18 on May 16th, I have chosen to aim for that as the publication date! It will be tight to get it all done by then but where there is a will, there is a way!

So please comment and tell me what you think of the cover that Lauren Perry from Perrywinkle Photography designed for me! I could not be more pleased! I can’t say how well this represents what the book is about. I am even more thrilled that I could reveal it right here on Austen Authors! Each commenter will be entered into a giveaway and there will be TWO winners! This is open internationally, so if those across the ocean would like a chance to win a paperback of this book, you must comment for your chance to win! Of course you may choose the kindle version if you so wish but then you won’t get this awesome bookmark too! Decisions, decisions . . .

BookmarkJEFinalJust for fun, here are a few other shots from the photo shoot that were too amazing to pass up. By the way, her hair was done by Danni Johnson and her dress was made from a seamstress on Etsy.

Sorry for being so slow in responding to all your comments. I have had to work the last few days and it is sometimes nearly impossible to have any free time while working. Some days/nights it is really slow and I have a tun of time to interact with all my readers but this week it was impossible. So forgive me. I did have it pulled up on my phone and I followed all the comments as best I could. I had the morning off and was able to catch up on all of these comments. They were wonderful and I loved each and every one! Thank you so much. I am so excited to share this with you all. Take care

See you May 16th on Amazon! (That is my hope at least! Spread the word as much as possible too.)
